International Zine Month Events

Sunday July 8th
1 pm
Let's Talk About The Weather
Samizdat's pal Nicky R will be teaching a zinemaking workshop with weather as a theme. Respond to prompts about small talk and weather to help create a collaborative zine for free zine day. We've got supplies, feel free to bring your own!

Sunday July 15th
2 pm
Mini Exquisite Corpse Comics
Come playful and join forces to create 1-page-fold mini comics using an exquisite corpse style, passing a zine from person to person; each adding an element to the comic. The library has supplies and a copier to use.

Saturday July 21st
12 - 6 pm
International Zine Library Day
Bring a zine for our swap bin, take a zine from our swap bin. Read all day, party all day, make a zine, check out a zine, donate a zine, send a letter to your favorite zinester. Come in for whatever strikes your fancy at Samizdat, noon - 6pm

Saturday July 28th
12 - 6pm
Free Zine Day!
FREE ZINES!!!! Bring a stack of zines you've made to give away! If you don't have a stack, we do!

Here's a brief Samizdat update to quench your zine thirst

Samizdat Zine Library is now living within Star Clipper in the Delmar Loop

That's 6392 Delmar, specifically.

The library is all the way in the back of the store, you can't miss it!

We are open as a reading room every single freakin' day of the week!

Open hours are:

Sunday through Tuesday, 10am - 8pm
Wednesday through Saturday, 10am - 10pm
